For valuations on or in your home (or on your property), 35 Euro pre-charges are calculated. For valuation work, we charge 0,5% commission. This with a minimum commission of 25 Euro. This includes travelling time, on-site time, research and administration. A more accurate idea of the time it will take and the costs can be established once we have spoken to you about what to valuate. Please email us for a free no obligation quote. If you have a substantial collection we can advise you on the most cost effective method of valuing.
Helpful Information for the Valuer
It is helpful for you to provide as much information on your pieces as possible. The history or provenance of a piece is not always discernable through appraisal. This information can include previous valuations or appraisal documents, original purchase receipts, any known historical information (how you came to own the piece or stories that go with them) and restoration reports if the items have been restored. This helps to provide a more accurate valuation.
